Office of Gay and Lesbian Programs

To increase the awareness of the campus community to gay and lesbian concerns, the Office of Gay and Lesbian Programs offers programs that address issues such as homophobia, sexism and other issues related to sexual orientation.

While it plays an important educational role, the office also offers assistance and support to gay and lesbian students and strives to meet the needs of the gay and lesbian community. This assistance includes efforts to improve the campus climate for gays and lesbians.

The office has presented a number of nationally known speakers who have talked on topics ranging from "Homophobia: Is There a Cure?" to "Spirituality in the Time of AIDS."
