Traci Guinn

Traci Guinn has been employed at Central Michigan University since 1998. As the child of a retired Air Force officer, Traci has lived many places during her life. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana; she then went to high school in Honolulu, Hawaii and college in Memphis, Tennessee. She holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Central Michigan University, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Community Leadership from CMU, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Memphis. Prior to joining the MSS staff, Traci worked in the Admissions office as associate director of admissions for minority enrollment.

Shawn Wilson

Shawn Wilson completed his Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Commercial Recreation at Central Michigan University in 1995. Over the past 11 years Shawn has worked throughout the Midwest in various housing and residential life programs. Most recently Shawn served as Director of Housing and Residential Life at Northwood University in Midland, MI where he was also an adjunct faculty member. In 2001 Shawn earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University. Shawn is a King, Chavez, Parks Future Faculty Fellowship recipient currently working on his Doctorate in Higher Education Administration at Central Michigan University. In his spare time Shawn enjoys spending time with wife Gina, daughter Georgia, and dog Harley. Shawn also likes to camp and ride motorcycles.

 

 

Sean Novak

Sean Michael Novak received his Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in 2006. He majored in Sociology and minored in American Ethnic Studies. Currently, he is pursuing his Masters Degree in Sociology with a focus on race and ethnic relations and plans to pursue his Doctoral degree in Education. Born in Detroit, MI, Sean moved much of his younger years. After moving from Detroit, he resided shortly in Farmington Hills, Linden, South Lyon, Fenton, Colon, and now Mt. Pleasant (all in Michigan). This diverse experience built the foundation of what he does with his life today. After finishing his national service with AmeriCorps*, Sean found his home in Minority Student Services where he worked a semester as a graduate assistant and then was tapped for the Interim Assistant Director position.

 

Ann Danielski

Ann has been at Central Michigan University for over 25 years and, in particular, with Minority Student Services for 14 years. She has three grown children and three granddaughters and one grandson. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism and hopes to have a future career in editing for a book publishing company. She hopes that all CMU students, faculty, and staff will stop by the MSS office to enjoy the family atmosphere and learn as much as they can about the programs and events that are offered.

Jeanette joined CMU and Minority Student Services in July 1999. She is happily married, has two children, and lives in Alma Michigan. I'm glad to be serving CMU in the capacity that I am. I love the students, faculty and staff at CMU. Please stop in and enjoy our warm family oriented office.
